Kelsea and Micailah grew up together in Phippsburg, Maine. They have fond memories of laughter like the time Micailah accidentally plowed Kelsea over when learning how to ski. Kelsea has continued to be a rock for Micailah over the years not only as her older sister but also as her friend. They share a love of Gilmore girls and a dream to build their homestead someday!

Sydney and Micailah go together like a firecracker and a lighter. Sydney is a pillar of Micailah's foundation; She has even moved all the way to Georgia when Micailah and Shawn were stationed there! Sydney and Micailah have known each other since Kelsea and Sydney met on the Morse High School cross country team in 2015. However, it wasn't until these two started lobstering with Micailah's Uncle Proctor in the summer of 2019 that their friendship really flourished. Today, they can often be found running their two crazy dogs in the woods somewhere!

Rosalee is Micailah's oldest friend! Micailah and Rosalee met on a sunny day in the summer of 2006. Rosie's mom brought Rosie and her little sister to Micailah's Papa's house. Micailah's family had just moved in from Illinois; when the news spread about 3 young girls around Rosie and Lulu's age they knew we had to meet! 2 secret worlds, countless forts, a handful of yearly camping trips, too many sunburns and 18 years later, these two have remained friends! Micailah can't wait to share yet another memory with her honorary sister.

Moriah and Micailah are twins! And no they aren't identical! Moriah and Micailah have a bond like no other. Growing up with a twin is an experience shared by few yet envied by many. Moriah is the oposite of Micailah in all the best ways. She reminds Micailah to slow down and smell the roses; literally. When they were kids, Moriah was moseying through the neighborhood on her bike, enjoying the sights, sounds, and smells. Meanwhile Micailah was racing to see if she could catch up to their older sister. Moriah is musical and graceful and always helps Micailah remember why these characteristics are so important. Micailah says that Moriah is a piece of her, and without her she would not be complete.
Rosemary Wendt

Rosemary is a role model for Micailah. They are cousins but often act more like sisters! Despite being thousands of miles away, they never stop planning matching tattoos and their next trip! Rosemary's willingness to go on any adventure, and accepting spirit has always inspired Micailah. As they grew up together, Micailah became inspired to become a physical therapist some day, just like her cousin. Rosemary is a pinnacle part of who Micailah is today, and she couldn't do her wedding day without her!

Megan is Shawn's youngest sister. Micailah met Megan when she came to Georgia to visit Shawn. They clicked immediately! After many years of growing friendship, Megan and Micailah are experiencing the challenges of college together; through many facetime calls and some late night texts! Everyone knows Megan is Shawn's soft spot. Megan and Micailah love teasing Shawn about it! Micailah is so excited to celebrate the combining of families, and to officially have another sister!
Leif Albertson
Father of the Bride
Micailah has always been attached to Dad's hip. Leif raise Micailah to understand everything from shooting her first shotgun, to respecting wildlife and the reason we hunt, to learning that you can be tough and compassionate at the same time. Dad also helped Micailah learn to appreciate her family, especially her beloved Papa (Leif's dad). Micailah is so excited to marry a man that enjoys spending 8 hours with Mr. A in the garage! These two are like two peas in a pod, Micailah often has to fight to get Shawn back!
Kimberly Albertson

Mrs.Albertson, as most know her by, is Micailah's inspiration. Kimberly raised Micailah and her sisters to be strong, intelligent, independent thinkers. Micailah attributes her ability to succeed even in the worst conditions to her Mother's example of true tenacity. Micailah is over the moon to share this experience with her mom. Shawn and Mrs. Albertson have a special bond too; this bond even survived Mr. A and Shawn's plan to surprise Mrs. A when proposing to Micailah!
