Lots of fun shops, brewery, wine bar and restaurants. Also, we suggest you either walk or drive to City Beach. Park and walk the paved loop at the beach. The views are incredible and you can see the Statue of Liberty!
This is our ski hill. It’s about a 20 minute drive up the mountain. There is a great village with shops, restaurants and coffee. In October, it will be pretty quiet up there but the view of the lake from there is incredible and fun to walk around and take photos.
A lovely and easy out and back three mile walk right alongside the lake. Takes about an hour round-trip, but you can make shorter if you prefer.
The Bernklau Downtown location – we like mainly for coffee and they do crepes too. Bluebird Bakery Scene of our first date and wonderful pastries and egg options. Downtown location. Paneah’s Bisto Downtown location. In the Cedar Street Bridge – fun views, other shops in there, great food and coffee Pack River Store About 20 minute drive but the character and food make it worth the beautiful drive.
Matchwood Fun brewery in Granary District with good food. Eichart's Pub and Grill A Sandpoint Icon. Great food, beverage and music typically Thursday through Saturday. The Forge Artisan Pizza Excellent wood fire pizza. The Bank Great place for romantic meal, small plates, fun cocktails, wine and great atmosphere. Joel's Mexican Great place for grab and go Mexican. Spud's On Sand Creek and great place for soup, salads and sandwiches with a nice view. Utara Fun brewery, electric atmosphere and they serve Indian food.
