Jerry Parsley
Groom
Jerry works for John V. Shultz Furniture. Besides his love for Shawn, he loves all animals, but especially his chihuahuas Tyson and Braxton and their cheagle, Marston. Jerry is a thrill seeker and is ready for any roller coaster. His love of all things horror will hopefully be satisfied through ghost and cemetery tours in New Orleans, where the couple will be honeymooning; next April.
Shawn Miller
Groom
Shawn is a Special Education Teacher at the Elizabeth Lee Black School, Barber National Institute. He currently is the full time substitute teacher, but has worked in verbal behavior, transitional life skills and autistic life skills support. He is finishing his educational doctorate (Ed.D.) from the University of Pittsburgh. He is also an adjunct professor at Mercyhurst University, teaching Observation and Assessment and Aesthetic Education with Art. He also serves a board member to the ARC of Erie. He first met Jerry while he was living in Indianapolis after working for his Fraternity, Zeta Beta Tau; he is currently the advisor for the Zeta Xi Chapter at Gannon University. He loves his three dogs: Tyson, Marston and Braxton and is eager to enjoy honeymooning in New Orleans!
Jerry Parsley, Sr.
Father of the Groom
Jerry is the father of Jerry. He is a retired Army man as well as Sheriff for the town of Advance, Indiana. He is an avid car enthusiast with his pride and joy being his 2007 Mustang. He is happy to see his son finding the love of his life and is pleased to welcome Shawn into the family.
Sandra Kay Williams Parsley
Mother of the Groom
Sandra Kay, our Angel on our shoulders. Sandra is the mother of Jerry. Wife of Jerry Sr. and friend to all who knew her. While not present in person, she remains in our hearts today and always. We love you and miss you with all our being.
Jami Jeske
Sister of Jerry accompanying Jerry Sr.
Jami is Jerry's eldest sister. She is a registered nurse and wife of Scott, and mother to Jessica, Olivia and Hannah. She is also grandmother to Zachary and Cooper. She is sage of the family and matriarch. She is the ultimate glue to our ever growing family.
Jerry Miller
Father of the Groom
Jerry is the father of Shawn. Jerry is retired from the US Navy Reserves and Copes Vulcan. He was a mechanical and nuclear engineer. In his youth, he was an avid swimmer and water polo player and encouraged Shawn to challenge himself and excell in both sports.
June Miller
Mother of the Groom
June is the mother of Shawn. She is a devout Christian, having at one point in her life been a lay-person and church secretary for many years. She loves all her children with all her heart and is happy to see her youngest finally finding love.
Juliet swick
Best Man
Juliet is Jerry’s Best Man. She and Jerry work together at John V Shultz. She is an amazing friend to both Shawn and Jerry! She is a fierce animal lover. She has a pit bull Xander as well as two pet pigs! A dynamo in her own right, she can often be seen with her girlfriend Danielle.
Samuel & Michelle Cacchione
Best Man
Sam was one of Shawn’s first students when he began teaching. Through the years Shawn has come to be Sam’s right hand man and Sam has become Shawn’s. They can often be seen sipping smoothies from Panera, Frappuccinos from Starbucks, Chipotle, Five Guys, or just enjoying a movie. Sam’s family has been a godsend for Shawn, mother Michelle (Shelley) intrigued Shawn into living a healthier life through essential oils, while father Jon is a fellow educator and mentor to Shawn. They have been one of the many families in Shawn’s-life to guide him on his path of success. The whole family is a blessing.
Samantha Graham
Maid of Honor
Samantha is Shawn's niece. She is studying Psychology at the Pennsylvania State University the Behrend College. She will complete her masers degree soon and hopes to go on to also pursue her doctorate. She is the mother of Celeste and shares Shawn's love of sy-fi hits such as Supernatural, the Flash and Arrow.
Jeffrey Parsley

Jeffrey is Jerry's younger brother. He works for Fed Ex. He is husband to Melissa and father to Steven and Brandon. Always the life of the party, he always keeps Jerry laughing.
Jessica Flora
Groomswoman
Jessica is Jerry's eldest niece and a pharmacy technician with express scripts pharmaceuticals. She is wife of Matt and mother to Zachary and Cooper. Although miles separate us, she is Jerry's number one confidant and best friend for many years.
Cooper Flora
Ring Bearer
Cooper is one of our ring bearers and great-nephew. He is the son of Matthew and Jessica and Brother to Zachary. He is the light of our eyes and joy in our hearts. We are blessed that he can be here with us today with such an important role.
Sarena Light
Groomswoman
Sarena is Shawn's sister. She is wife of Larry and mother to Samantha and Christopher while being grandmother to Celeste. She is an amazing artist with talents ranging from painting to knitting and crocheting. She is active in the JoAnna Connell Parent/Teacher Organization and loves camping with the family and can be seen often in a variety of amusement parks.
Christopher Light
Ring Bearer
Christopher is in the third grade and is an avid reader. He also enjoys boy scouts and traveling with his family. He is son to Sarena and Larry, brother to Samantha, uncle to Celeste and nephew to Shawn and Jerry. He loves telling jokes! Ask him to tell you his favorite!
Brady Hartle
Groomsman
Brady is a student at Gannon University and a brother of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity, where Shawn is an advisor. Brady is a spunky brother that continues Shawn's fun loving spirit, even when he can't be there. Brady loves all things video games and helped Shawn to learn how to play Grand Theft Auto (even if Shawn didn't do so well).
Celeste Eller
Flower Girl
Celeste is our great niece and daughter of Samantha. Our little actress and dancer. She is the spunkiest little girl you have ever met. She brings joy to our lives daily. She is right at home on the stage and her face can say what she doesn’t! She’s always out to have fun!
Christopher Ross
Groomsman
Chris is also a Brother of Zeta Beta Tau. Chris also works at BNI in the maintenance and grounds department during the summers. He is a senior at Gannon University. Chris is part of Shawn's adopted tree in the fraternity and is always there with a good joke and always has a smile on his face.
Molly Samsel
Groomswoman
Molly is Jerry’s good friend who also works at John V Shultz. An animal lover in her own right she makes a mean margarita.
