We're getting married!!

Shawn “Silky” Taylor and Donisha “Meeks” Mills met back in 2016 while working for the Department of Defense (DoD). We only spoke in passing for the most part. Eventually, along with fellow co-workers, we would discuss “hot topics” in the breakroom at work. At times, Shawn and Donisha would find themselves in the breakroom alone and have enlightening conversations. They discovered that they both shared a couple of things in common…the same birthday and daughters that played soccer. Shawn left DoD in 2020 but they decided to keep in touch. In 2021, Shawn began working for another DoD agency where he decided to contact Donisha. She suggested they go to dinner to “catch up”. They met up at Uncle Julio’s in Columbia, Maryland on November 29, 2021. Sparks flew immediately and they talked for over 3 hours. The rest is history….
