When and where is the wedding?

We’ll be eloping to beautiful Montana! We’ll be staying at an Airbnb rental from August 12–15, 2027, and our wedding day will be August 14, 2027. The ceremony and celebration will take place at the Airbnb once we return from Glacier National Park that afternoon. We will provide the specific location of our rental once we confirm it!

What’s the plan for the wedding day?

Shawn and I will be spending the morning and early afternoon with our photographer in Glacier National Park for some wedding photos. While we’re away, our friends and family will be cooking and setting up for the celebration. Once we return, we’ll have a small ceremony followed by a relaxed cookout and evening together.

Guests are welcome to stay onsite with us at the Airbnb (space permitting) or book nearby accommodations. We’ll share lodging details and recommendations closer to the date so everyone can find something that fits their needs.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Think casual but nice — comfortable, simple, and polished. Please avoid work clothes, torn shirts, bright colors, or loud prints. Neutral or earthy tones will look great against the Montana backdrop! Feel free to reach out for any extra clarification!

We recommend bringing: • Layers (Montana evenings can get cool!) • Comfortable shoes for outdoors • Any special drinks, snacks, or games you’d like to share • A relaxed, adventurous spirit 🏞️

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! We’re planning a casual cookout (or catering) at the rental for the wedding day. We’ll have all the basics covered, and you’re more than welcome to bring your own snacks or additional food. This will be a BYOB event, as we will not be providing a bartending service. Water and soda will be available on the wedding day. For the rest of the weekend, we ask that guests provide their own food and drinks.

Absolutely — we’d love that! Our hope is to make this celebration feel like a cozy weekend with family and friends. If you’re up for helping prep food, decorate, or wrangle the grill, let us know when you RSVP.

What’s the schedule for the weekend?

Answer

We will be at the rental from August 12–15. Feel free to arrive and depart whenever works best for you! After the wedding, the remainder of the weekend is entirely up to you. You can choose to rent an additional Airbnb to extend your stay, or head home on Sunday after the wedding. Please plan your visit in whichever way fits you best. Our rental is located right on the lake, and we’d love for you to enjoy any free time with us here! There will be floaties, kayaks, and other lake gear available for use. Of course, you’re also welcome to explore the area on your own if you’d like.

Will there be cell service or Wi-Fi?

Answer

Montana is gorgeous, but service can be spotty, especially near Glacier. Expect some offline time — perfect for unplugging and being present.
