What are our lodging options?

Answer

Springdale is the hub for the main entrance of Zion National Park and has many lodging options ranging from hotels to Airbnbs at all budgets. It's about a ten minute drive to the wedding venue. Zion Lodge is the only hotel in Zion National Park and offers cabins and hotel rooms. We aren't reserving a hotel block as we want our guests to feel free to stay in or around the park at your leisure.

Is there a dress code for the celebration?

Answer

We're requesting cocktail attire, but most importantly we want you to be comfortable and feel your best! It will be hot in the late afternoon, so please dress comfortably and bring a layer for the cooler weather in the evening. Block heels or wedges are recommended as there are some grassy areas.

What's the weather like in July?

Answer

Expect highs in the mid-90s to low-100s and lows in the high-50s to low-60s. July is the hottest month of the year here, so please be sure to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and take breaks!

What is altitude sickness and how can I avoid it?

Answer

We will be at 4,000 feet above sea level, so if you're not used to that it may take time for your body to adjust. Drink lots of water and remember that alcoholic beverages may have a stronger effect than you're used to. Please take good care of yourselves!
