Tennis, Pickle Ball, Walking Trails, Shopping at "The Gallery" The Gallery has art by local artists as well as a wonderful collection of McCarty Pottery. Tennis Racquets and Balls, as well as Pickle Ball paddles and balls will be available at the Winfield House for your use. The Winfield House, located on the Assembly grounds, will be the Hospitality Cottage for the weekend. Feel free to stop by to sit on the porch, grab a snack or bottle of water, and restrooms available.

Breathtaking memorial overlooking the Tennessee valley. The Cross honors those who have died in wars since WWI in Franklin County. You can either drive right up to the memorial or take the "Morgan’s Steep to Sewanee Cross" hike.
Mountain Goat Market - across from the Assembly gates, this eccentric sandwich shop is a local favorite! Shenanigans - A beloved pub by Sewanee students for decades, try the spicy turkey melt and fried pickles. Blue Chair Cafe and Tavern - Offers breakfast and lunch, as well as pub food for dinner. The Grandfather of the Bride claims they have the best omelette on the mountain! Stirling's Coffee House - on Sewanee campus, this coffee house is a 'go-to' for salads, sandwiches, and front porch conversations with friends. Sewanee Inn- 'Shakerag' offers wine, charcuterie boards, dinner, and more! We recommend sitting on the back patio around one of the fire pits. Reservations recommended.
