"Alyssia and I met in kindergarten at Sanislo Elementary School in 2005 and quickly became best friends. For the past 19 years now, we have made many favorite memories, most in her basement (If you know, you know!). This included practicing how to do the splits, singing karaoke, laughing our heads off, doing gymnastics, and of course talking about our future husbands! We did everything down there together so it will always have a special place in my heart❤."

"Alyssia and I have known each other since 2013, coming up on 12 years of friendship, and met when I transferred from Maddison middle school to Denny on the second day of 7th grade. Alyssia was one of the first people to take me under her wing and one of my first friends at the new school. We started going on Starbucks dates in the morning and getting Taco Bell for lunch with her dad Bill. We began sharing our birthdays together as we were only 3 days apart and the rest is history. My favorite memory with Alyssia is from new years morning in I believe 2018 or 2019. I walked into the living room to find Alyssia on her hands and knees using a butter knife in an attempt to scrape unmentionables off of the floor. Shortly after this discovery, we caught a pan on fire trying to make beignets. It has been an honor and a privilege to grow up with you and to get to experience your love and your friendship. I hope Shawn enjoys growing old with you as much as I have enjoyed growing up with you :)"

"Alyssia is my cousin from my moms side, although we're more like sisters, and I met her when she was a baby and I was ten! I was so excited it was my first solo flight as a kid and I remember loving her instantly! I got us matching pink polo shirts and was such a fun memory! My favorite memory was our night out at the Rustic when Alyssia came out to Dallas to visit me! It was the first time we really got to hangout like friends not just family! I love you and I am so excited to be by your side!"

"Alyssia and I met through Tatjana, over five years ago at a country music festival and became best friends. My favorite memories are when we would stay up all night just chatting for hours and laughing till literally the sun is starting to shine. I am so lucky to have you as a best friend and i wish nothing but the best for you and Shawn’s marriage and i can’t wait to be by your side for it, I love you!"

“I met Alyssia in high school when I joined gymnastics almost 8 years ago, her immediate kindness and sense of humor making us close friends, fast. One of my favorite memories with Alyssia was back in 2019 when her and I had both been feeling pretty down. We drove to a park to just sit and what easily could have been a night filled with tears, somehow turned into drinking two Bang energy drinks (the cotton candy flavor of course) and singing our lungs out to broadway songs (mostly the glee versions). This lasted for hours, bouncing our new happiness off one another, and forgetting about whatever it was that was making us sad at the time. By the way, Alyssia’s rendition of “Don’t Rain On My Parade” is fabulous !! There’s no one on this planet that exudes more sweetness than Alyssia. She is ALWAYS there to do ANYTHING for her loved ones. To Shawn and the rest of the Risdal family, thank you for showing my dear friend so much love over these years, and forevermore.”

“I have known Alyssia since we were in Kindergarten at Sanislo Elementary school in Seattle. When I met her, we were inseparable, creating countless memories together. Some of my favorite memories with her were when we would spend hours in her basement belting out Justin Bieber songs and dreaming of fame, to running around her backyard making up magical worlds and pretending we were fairies. These memories will always hold such a special place in my heart. I am thrilled to have the honor to stand by Alyssia on her special day, a dream we have both cherished since childhood. I met Alyssia in High School, roughly around Sophomore year. We met on instagram funnily enough. I still remember the first day we hung out, we immediately clicked and knew that we were going to be very close friends if not best friends. From going to Target, on double dates, to just hanging out and doing absolutely nothing, Alyssia has always been able to put a smile on my face and make me laugh in my worst days. She has been there for me when I didn't drive and never hesitate to pick me up and make time for us. I can't believe that she is getting married to such an amazing guy, and I can't wait for what the future holds for her and for or friendship. I can't wait to stand by your side on your big day.
