Sometimes life brings people back together at just the right moment. We first met years ago through ministry — crossing paths here and there, recognizing each other, but never truly connecting. Over the years, Kevin would occasionally reach out, but timing and life had a way of keeping us apart. It wasn’t until much later, after a few subtle nudges (and a little patience), that he finally asked, “Can I take you out?” Our first official date was at Olive Garden — my choice — where we ordered the same dish and spent over three hours talking like old friends. It felt natural, easy, and deeply familiar, even though we were just beginning to really know each other. So natural, in fact, that even our server assumed we had been married for years! As we grew closer, blending our lives and families became a beautiful journey. Today, we are not just blending homes, but building a new, joy-filled family. Our weekends are often simple and full of connection — working in the yard, reading and discussing self-help books, enjoying family dinners, movie nights, and lots of laughter. We share a love for action movies, working out, spending time outdoors, and dreaming of future adventures. Greece is at the top of our travel list! As we prepare to combine our homes and eventually find a new place to call our own, this next chapter feels even more special. Becoming husband and wife means no more goodbyes at the end of the night — just the comfort of waking up every day beside our best friend. We are so grateful to have found in each other a true partner — someone to build with, dream with, and walk alongside through all of life’s seasons. We can’t wait to celebrate the beginning of our forever with all of you.
