We originally met in High school but reconnected once college began. We were always in touch and had mutual friends, but it really sparked in 2021 when we had made it official. ❤️

Caleb and I were in Lake McConaughy in Nebraska taking family photos with our dogs. We have never taken pictures all together so I never suspected a thing. We were standing over a little ledge overlooking the entire lake. But once Samantha said to turn around, my heart began to pound and the second I turned around, it was Caleb holding a ring with the words “Will You Marry Me?” coming out of his mouth. And of course, I said yes ;)
