Pete and Tara met on Hinge in February 2022, proof that dating apps do sometimes work. They were having a great conversation and decided to meet up and get Sushi for their first date. They instantly connected, talking about video games and their favorite hobbies. After the first date, they were inseparable and went on many more. Since then, they’ve had non-stop adventures together, even taking a 13-hour road trip to Florida for vacation. In July 2022, they adopted their silly orange cat, Hunter. He's the baby of the family, even though he's older than Sierra, their rescue pup who they adopted in March 2023. Pete and Tara love spending time at home with Hunter and Sierra, playing video games, going to weekly trivia with friends, learning to golf and watching Formula 1 races on Sundays. The house is divided between Red Bull (Pete) and Ferrari (Tara), but they’ve managed to keep the peace somehow.

Pete and Tara went out to Utah for a winter trip with their friends at Powder Mountain. On Saturday, after Tara finished up her ski lesson, Pete asked her if she wanted to build a snowman. They ended up building their little family at the time: Tara, Pete and Hunter. Once they were done, Pete got down on one knee and said: “there’s one thing missing to make this a real family” and asked her to marry him. She was so excited, and of course said yes!

Tara grew up in the suburbs outside of Philadelphia her entire life before moving to Jersey. She graduated from Temple University in 2014 and is a sister of Delta Phi Epsilon. She has been working in Human Resources for 9 years. She loves to spend time cooking new recipes, going to concerts, watching Big Brother and playing video games.

Pete has lived all over the country, but has spent a majority of his time in Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M in 2013 and was a member of the Corps of Cadets. After college, he became a commissioned officer in the Marine Corps and served 10 years active duty. He's continuing his military service as a reservist and has fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming an airline pilot!
