We met in Guinea while Wanda was working as a software product manager for a local company. Our first meeting was supposed to be a discussion about how Mo could work for the company but it was clear that he was very much interested in something else.
We know it's a crazy time that we're living in and none of us ever expected to be here. We’re all making the best of it. We were waiting for a better time to announce that we got married March 13, 2020 but it never seemed like the right time. Thankfully my Morciré was able to make it into the US just before flights were cancelled and countries locked down. We’re thankful that God worked in out for us to get together after so much time apart. Others who I’m in contact with weren’t as fortunate. We were planning a party to celebrate along with a larger ceremony in 2021 but Covid-19 (Corona virus) has changed everything. As if we haven’t had enough uncertainty with the immigration process, things are even more uncertain for us now. As soon as we know how to move forward with our plans then we will. Thank you everyone for all love and support. Please take care of yourself, be safe and choose to be positive.
