Where do I park?

Answer

The address for beach parking is 2398 Ottawa Beach Rd, Holland, MI 49424. Proceed to the furthest northern lot (the smaller parking lot) to be closet to the ceremony location. You should pass the park shelter and concession stand when navigating to this lot.

Do I have to pay for parking?

Answer

Depending on how attentive the state park employees are being that day👀, there may be a small cost for parking for those who do not have a State Park pass. We recommend having some cash just in case.

How do we find the ceremony location?

Answer

Look out for a white "My Barefoot Wedding" van. This will be your indicator that you're in the right parking lot. Ben, our coordinator, will be waiting to direct you to the ceremony location prior to 7pm. If you arrive after the ceremony start time, look for signs that will direct you to keep walking north of the parking lot until you see us.

What happens if there is inclement weather?

Answer

Please be flexible with us as this is an outdoor ceremony. In the event of rain, we may move the start time up an hour or move the location of the ceremony. We will communicate as soon as that determination is made - both here on the website and directly via text. It may also be hot/humid, in which case we will proceed as planned and welcome you to dress for and bring anything you need to feel comfortable.

Can I bring a date/friend/cousin/kid/dog?

If you'd like to bring anyone other than those included on your RSVP, please also bring them a seat and a sandwich😉

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Yes! We are register here on Zola, at Wal-Mart and Bed Bath & Beyond. See the "Gift to Us" page for the link for all three registries. And thank you for gifting to us!

How hard are we celebrating at the after party? I'm asking for a friend👀

Answer

There will be an open bar at the reception. Please indulge responsibly and bring cash to tip your bartenders! If that's not your jam or you are underage, you can get cake-wasted instead!
