We are so excited to celebrate our special day with you!

On New Year’s Eve of 2017, I met the man I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with. My best friend Erica and I decided to ring in the New Year spending the night in Syracuse, watching a basketball game (of course) and then to Maxwell’s to count down the seconds to 2018. Little did I know that that night in Syracuse, I would meet the love of my life. Luckily, Chris also decided to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Maxwell’s with family and close friends. Caitlin, Chris’s cousin-in-law, overheard me talking about my students and persuaded Chris to talk to me. “Go talk to her! She’s a teacher; do NOT mess this up!” From there, the rest is history! On July 2, 2021, with our immediate families, Chris and I tied the knot and now reside together in Apalachin, NY.

On February 25, 2021, one day before our 3-year anniversary, Chris gave me the best anniversary present a woman in love could ever ask for. When I came home from work, on the front door was a sticky note. The note explained that I would have to follow the directions on each note around the house to locate my anniversary present! Each sticky note illustrated a favorite memory or a reason why Chris loves me. The last note, or so I thought, led me to a gift bag that had a few small presents. When I opened the gift, there was one last sticky note instructing me to search our home office for the last surprise. As I turned the corner to enter the office, Chris was there on one knee and popped question… “Will you marry me?” Of course, I said, “Yes!” It was picture-perfect and will always be one of the happiest days of my life.
