Airports

We recommend flying into one of the following airports: San Jose Airport (SJC), which is a 1.5 hour drive to Carmel. San Francisco (SFO), which is a 2 hour drive to Carmel. Oakland (OAK), which is a 2 hour drive to Camel. Monterey Regional Airport (MRY), which is a smaller airport and a 15 minute drive to Carmel.

A few that locals have recommended to us are Cypress Inn, Carmel Mission Inn, The Getaway, and Mission Ranch Hotel. Additionally, Monterey is a city about 15 minutes away from Carmel by car with larger hotels, including Portola Hotel, InterContinental, Hyatt, and Marriott. Travel Note

Booking Travel

We recommend booking travel early. The week after our wedding is the largest antique car show called Concours d'Elegance in Pebble Beach, so hotels and flights may book up earlier than usual.
