Hotel
All wedding events on Saturday will take place at the Jekyll Island Club Resort. We strongly encourage guests to stay at the resort and to book early due to high season on the island. Staying on property ensures not only convenience for wedding festivities, but also access to the full experience of the resort offerings - including the spa, pools, golf, and bike activities. Hotel
This hotel is located about 10 minutes from the Jekyll Island Club Resort and is where the Welcome Party on Friday night will be taking place. We do not have a room block at this hotel. Please note that due to the nature of Jekyll Island, ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft are not available in this area. Transportation will only be provided on Friday night for guests going between the Jekyll Club and The Westin.
Travel Note
There are other hotels as well as some Airbnb and vacation rental options available in the Jekyll Island area for those looking for alternative accommodations. As mentioned above, ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft are not available in this area, and we will not be providing transportation to and from the wedding venue for guests staying off-property. If you choose to stay at an Airbnb, we recommend arranging private transportation in advance.
Travel Note
There are two international airports guests can fly into. Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is approximately 70 minutes from Jekyll Island. Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) is approximately 90 minutes from Jekyll Island. We recommend renting a car for the most convenient and flexible travel option to the island. Having your own vehicle will be the most convenient way to get to and from the resort. Please note there is a $10 fee to enter the island as it is a state park.
