Not a moment too soon!

Rod came into town with some family of mine and when he walked into the door of my aunts house, I was completely blown away.. he was DID-I-JUST-DROOL gorgeous! I’d agreed to take him, “the little brother”, to the store when he arrived but standing before me was an absolute piece of heaven .. so I quickly -without hesitation- changed my mind and refused to be anywhere alone with him. I could never have imagined he’d love me the way I knew in that moment, I was capable of loving him.

It was the summer of 2013 and I received a call from Kesh Kesh that she was going to come over to my house to see me she let me know that her cousin was with her also so I asked who and she told me Shauntelle the one that WOULDNT TAKE YOU TO THE STORE! So I said ok and when we got off the phone I tried to get my house and myself together best as I could knowing I wasn’t looking NOTHING like I did the first time we saw each other but I made it work. When they arrived I greeted them then my life started! We talked a little that’s when I found out she was in town for the weekend for a hair show. At that moment I knew it was on me to make something happen with the blessing God gave me by having that event in Orlando! So as the day went along we talked more... well she talked and I listened at that moment I was shy really didn’t know what to say to her. We went to the mall then to Wally World to grab some things she needed for her hair show. So for the next few days I stayed at Kesh Kesh house to try and pick her brain to get to know her better also she is a REAL WOMAN FROM THE START SHE RESPECTED HERSELF AND PROTECTED HERSELF and didn’t stay at my house! So as the days went on we talked, watched movies and got to know each other a little better. That’s when I found out she is a goof ball! She couldn’t stop laughing at Friday the movie every other line she would bust out laughing. As we got closer to each other my feelings started tugging at me and I feel for her genuine honesty and feelings so I took my shoot and asked her to trust me with her and Armiah and stay in Orlando with me. She thought about it and told me no but I knew if I just took that no on the chin like I did with the ride to the store then I more then likely wouldn’t see her or get the chance that was in front of me and have her as apart of my life so I stuck to my gut and kept at it. As it came closer to her leaving she decided to trust me and stay in Orlando! Oh yea she didn’t go to the hair show!!!!!!
