It all started in the summer of 2017 at Michigan’s Adventure. It was our first day of work, and AnZhane was assigned to the same restaurant as me. The first thing I noticed? Her shoes. (Yeah, I have good taste.) I asked where she got them, and from there, the conversation just flowed. We spent the day talking, laughing, and getting to know each other. At first, we hung out in groups with our coworkers, but soon, it was just the two of us spending late afternoons at the beach or wandering around Heritage Landing, talking about everything and anything. The more time we spent together, the more we realized how much we had in common. Eventually, friendship turned into something more, and we officially started dating. Looking back, it’s wild to think that a summer job led to finding the love of my life, but here we are preparing to spend forever together. ❤️

I wanted our engagement to be something straight out of a fairytale, and I think I pulled it off! I surprised my fiancée with a horse and carriage ride, letting us take in the moment while feeling like total royalty. Just when she thought the night couldn’t get any better, we stopped at a beautiful park, where a "Marry Me" display was set up, waiting for us. That’s when I got down on one knee and popped the question! Of course, she said YES! (Cue happy tears, big smiles, and a moment we’ll never forget.) To wrap up our perfect night, we went out for a romantic dinner to celebrate, soaking in all the excitement and love.
