Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport

We recommend flying in to Malaga airport. It is a 1.5 hour drive in a car/transfer. There is also a bus from the airport which takes 2 hours.

Transport from Málaga to Granada

• CAR RENTAL: Available at Málaga Airport (easy drive via A-92 and takes approx. 1.5 hours). • BUS: Direct buses from Málaga Airport to Granada run frequently (approx. €12–€15pp and takes approx. 2 hours). • PRIVATE TRANSFERS: Closer to the wedding date, once guests have booked their flights, we’ll look at arranging a shared minibus for those arriving at the same time. If you prefer to arrange your own transport, you’re welcome to do so. We’ve personally used Zip Transfers and transfers booked through Booking.com, both of which are reliable options.

We stayed here and it is perfect for anyone who wants the comfort of a hotel stay. There’s a small rooftop pool, lovely rooms, and you’re right in the heart of Granada, just a short stroll from the main streets. We got a better deal booking directly through the hotel website.

This is another Barcelo hotel that's a little bit further out but cheaper. We've noticed that the Barcelo Carmen is starting to sell out/prices are going up. Just another option for people as this also has a small pool.
