Right as you turn off of Boreas Pass Road, you will see our lodge to the left. You may park along this road off to the side on the gravel! Please just do not block the road as there is another lodge on this road that is not being rented by us!
The ceremony will be outside at our lodging. This is a 6,000 square foot log home on 2 acres of land! There will be benches/chairs for you to sit on at the ceremony site. This will be pretty short and sweet. Following the ceremony, there will be outdoor/indoor games to play, cocktails, and chips and dip to enjoy while the we take photos!
I want to everyone to be aware ahead of time this is going to be a very nontraditional wedding! We wanted our wedding to just be a fun, easy-going, stress-free time for our closest family and friends to gather, mingle, eat, drink, and celebrate our love. There will be some wedding traditions like: wedding cake, a first dance, daddy/daughter dance, mother/son dance, etc. But otherwise there isn't a huge dance floor for you to get jiggy-with-it but there is plenty of room outdoors and indoors! We will still have a good time drinking, hanging out, and playing games, though!
Honestly, you can wear whatever you would like. There is no strict dress codes here! Most women will likely be wearing dresses and men wearing khaki's or jeans and a sport coat or button up shirt. Be sure to bring a jacket to wear at time as it will be chilly!
If you know Shaun and I, the way to our heart is authentic street tacos. So that's what we are having! There will be an assortment of meats, flour and corn tortillas. As well as mexican rice, beans and salsa, queso, and guacamole. For alcoholic beverages we will have beer, wine, and margaritas.
I would suggest staying in the Breckenridge/Blue River area, that way you are close to the reception location! See the Travel tab for several suggestions. Airbnb is a great site to use for booking.
We will be in Breck from September 24-September 28
Absolutely!
