Guaranteed Rate Field
Our wedding weekend happens to also be the Cross Town Classic where the White Sox and Cubs face off. The Sox are hosting at Guaranteed Rate Field 8/27 - 8/29.
Giordano's
Deep dish pizza is a must, other favorite spots include: Lou Malnati's and Pequod's (our personal favorite!)
Magnificent Mile
Shopping!! Another place we (mainly Hannah) love to visit is Armitage Ave, there are lots of boutiques and cool shops.
Au Cheval
For the BEST burger in town we suggest you visit Au Cheval in the West Loop. If you want to avoid the long wait common at Au Cheval, The Vig, Kuma's Corner, Blue Door Kitchen, and DryHop Brewers all have burgers that are delicious too.
Chicago Riverwalk
A 1.25-mile stretch located on the south bank of the Chicago River, right in the heart of downtown Chicago with bars, restaurants, and some of the best views in the city. We highly recommend the Chicago Architecture Boat tour: https://www.wendellaboats.com/Boat-Tours/chicagos-original-architecture-tour/ or the kayaking tour if you are feeling adventurous!
Revolution Brewing - Brewpub
There are so many great local breweries, some of our favorites are Revolution, Maplewood, Half Acre, Forbidden Root, and Lagunitas.

Etta Bucktown
etta is one of our favorite brunch spots in the city, there are two locations - Bucktown and River North. Other favorite brunch spots include the Bongo Room, Summer House Santa Monica, Happy Camper/Homeslice/Paradise Park (all same concept and owners), Virtue, Cira, and Bar Siena
The Aviary
Where cocktails meet science! Other places we love to grab a fancy cocktail include Celeste, Cindy's Rooftop, Broken Shaker, and the Berkshire Room.
Lakefront Trail
A bustling 18.5 mile path along Lake Michigan. You will encounter runners, walkers, bikers, skateboarders, swimmers - you name it! We also love the 606 Trail which cuts across 4 neighborhoods - Wicker Park, Bucktown, Logan Square, and Humboldt Park.
La Colombe Coffee Roasters
We love the "Black and Tan" at La Colombe - half iced black coffee and half draft latte. Other hot spots to get a caffeine fix include The Wormhole Coffee, Dark Matter Coffee, Big Shoulders, and Dollop Coffee Co.
Stan's Donuts & Coffee
One of our favorite donut shops, Do-Rite and Firecakes are also worth the hype!
