Isaiah and Shauna’s story began at the University of Alabama in Huntsville during their first semester in 2023. One ordinary school day, the two happened to cross paths near the Charger Union. As they walked past each other, Shauna stopped and said, “Hey, are you Isaiah? You’re one of our men’s practice players.” That simple moment would become the beginning of something much bigger. After that day, they began seeing each other more often at practices. Being around each other so much naturally led to friendly competition, laughter, and plenty of moments where they pushed each other to be better. Day after day they went at it on the court, but slowly something more began to grow beyond basketball. As time went on, there were many moments that felt far from coincidence. Somehow, Isaiah and Shauna kept running into each other at just the right times. Looking back, they both believe those moments were part of God’s plan—placing them in each other’s lives exactly when they needed it most. A couple of months later, another small but unforgettable moment happened. Isaiah was sitting in the campus cafeteria with his friends when Shauna walked in with her mom for a lunch date. Seeing his opportunity, Isaiah slid his phone across the table and asked Shauna to put her number in. From that moment on, things began to change. They started spending more and more time together, getting to know each other, laughing, supporting one another, and realizing how naturally their lives seemed to fit together. What started as chance meetings on campus quickly turned into a friendship that grew deeper every day. Isaiah and Shauna truly believe that God brought them together at exactly the right time and in exactly the right way. Then on January 18, 2024, they officially began their relationship. From that day forward, they knew they wanted to walk through life side by side. Through faith, perfect timing, and a series of moments that could only be described as meant to be, Isaiah and Shauna found each other. Now they are excited to begin the next chapter of their story together and celebrate their love with the people who mean the most to them.
