Transportation to the French Quarter
The easiest way to get to the French Quarter is by taxi. They charge a flat fee of $36 for 2 people to the FQ or $15 per person for 3 or more people. You can find the taxi just outside the baggage claim area. Uber and Lyft are also options. There is no need to rent a car since most places can be walked to and there is a street car and pedicabs. Also, parking in the FQ comes at a premium.

This is our place to stay when we visit NOLA. Right next door to where our reception will be, its central to almost everything in the French Quarter. We will be staying here but please don't feel that you have to stay where we do. Please pick a place that fits your budget. Feel free to ask us for recommendations.

We have stayed here and it is a lovely hotel and in a nice area with a pretty courtyard and attached bar. Currently, the rates are cheaper than at Place D'Armes. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel is part of the same family as Place D'Armes and currently has GREAT prices! It's in the French Quarter and I wouldn't hesitate to book here. This would be a good choice for those that haven't yet booked or are looking to rebook and save some money.
