We met at a mutual friend’s birthday party at a dance studio. While Shauna was on the dance floor learning the steps to Chris Brown’s Kiss Kiss, Gilbert was lookin’ cool on the sidelines. We chatted that night back at our friend’s house, but we wouldn’t have our first date until four months later. Gilbert showed off his mad skills at axe throwing and then we went to dinner at Town Tavern. It didn’t take long for us to realize we’d each found our person. Four months after making it official, we bought our first house. And one month later we adopted our sweet pup, Owen. Just a few weeks before our one year anniversary, Gilbert proposed at Magic Kingdom in front of Cinderella’s castle after an amazing fireworks show. And now we’re excited to celebrate our marriage with our family and friends!
