The year was 2020 and the world was a dumpster fire. In November of 2020, Shauna and Dave both joined an online dating site. Dave saw Shauna's profile and was so hoodwinked that he wrote a long email to her. Shauna read the email and was smitten! Within a week, they were on their first date at Maumee Bay Brewing Company in Toledo, Ohio. The two sat for 7.5 hours. Only leaving when the restaurant closed.
