Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Absolutely! We will have “all you can drink” beer options and select liquors/wine.

Will there be a seating chart?

Answer

No we ask you to sit wherever you would like with whomever you please. We’re all family now!

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside at the pond (seating is limited so be prepared to possibly stand and please give your seat to the elderly if possible). The reception will take place inside the barn. If weather does not cooperate we will move the ceremony into the barn as well.

Will there be free parking onsite?

Answer

Yes! There will be a large parking area on the farm and there will also be a gator/atv for use to transport those who need some help getting around.

Is there an end time for the event?

Answer

The reception inside the barn is over at 11pm. However, we will be having a bonfire outside the barn which will go as late as we please.

Where should we stay?

Answer

The venue is a little bit out in the middle of nowhere. There is a block of rooms reserved at the Vernon Downs casino 15min away. Reservations can be made at a discounted rate under the Hessil/Shaughnessy wedding by calling. There is also free camping at the venue if you would like to camp out the night of the wedding.

What will the food be?

Answer

Backyard bbq/picnic theme. Buffet style. BBQ pulled pork, coleslaw, Mac and cheese, salad, etc.
