How We Met

We orginally met in high school. Edmondson Westside High School. I was a freshmen. Quiet, shy. Davon was a Sophmore. Loud, popular, mischeivous… totally opposite of me. But Davon showed us freshmans the ropes. Where to catch the bus, how to get the less crowded buses etc. From there I can tell he had a good heart. But I was no where near interested and never would have thought later in life, he would be my husband. Davon stop attending Edmondson, but i still seen him in passing, whether it was at the school ( knowing he wasnt suppose to be there) , or in the neighborhood Sandtown where we both once resided. But not at the same time. Davon had long curly hair that I know he used to get the girls LOL. And one day asked if I can braid it. And yup! He got me. We lost contact with eachother at least 3 times in about 10 years, but the universe kept putting us together until we realized we were meant to be. We welcomed our first child together in 2010 and another in 2016. 2018 we vowed to never leave eachothers side again. Davon asked for my hand in marriage and of course I said Yes!

For all the days along the way
