Joshua and I met by chance in April of 2015. We both were working on a healthier lifestyle. We met while working out with coworkers. Joshua was working on his arms, while I was doing squats. Some may say it was love at first sight. We both have admitted that we simply liked what we saw so it was easy to catch the other's eye. Joshua decided to walk by and say “Hey” and I thought I responded, but from his recollection, all I did was smile and blush. We left the gym that night thinking we would never see each other again. Fortunately, that wasn't the case. As I was leaving Walmart, I noticed a familiar face, as he also noticed me. He decided to approach a second time and jokingly asked was I stalking him. From that moment, our journey began. Our friendship was off to a great start within the first few months, but then I took a job in Longview, TX and had to move. We continued to have a friendship over the years until we both decided that we were ready to move forward. That’s when Joshua moved to Longview to be closer to me. So how did he pop the question? Well, Joshua planned a romantic dinner, but I noticed that he was acting very strange. He wouldn’t keep still and seemed very hyper. By the end of the night, I was beyond tired, but he would not let me go to sleep. I became frustrated and yanked a pillow that was beside me off the couch and a box rolled over to the side of my leg. That’s when he drop down to one knee, explained how much he loved me and asked me to marry him. Of course, I cried and said “YES!” This led us to the #CrosbyandWhiteMerger.
