When and where do I RSVP
Answer
Please RSVP on our website by or contact Shasta or Evan via phone at 540-241-2278 or 804-356-6884. You are welcome to RSVP before this date!

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
Your invitation is addressed to those who are invited. If it includes a guest by name, then yes! If not, we prefer to just have you attend. We would love to offer a plus one to all guests, however, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget and meet our venue restrictions. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
Totally up to you! If you want a night out without kids we welcome that but kids are more than welcome to attend and I know our kids would love kids to play with! We just ask that you keep a close eye on them and remove them from the ceremony if they are disruptive.

What is the dress code?
Answer
The dress code is semi-formal, cocktail attire. For men, we suggest a suit, blazer, or button down with pants. For women, a dress, jumpsuit, or dressy separates would all work.

What colors should I wear?
Answer
We invite you to join us in wearing our wedding colors, which include bright, joyful, summer colors! Think bright pinks, purples, blues (the whole rainbow) and all the floral accents! Please have fun with your outfits!

Will transportation be provided?
Answer
We are not providing transportation to and from the events, but the ceremony and reception are in the same location and there is plenty of parking available. If you do not wish to drive, we suggest taking an Uber or Lyft.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
Please plan on arriving at 4:30 pm to give yourself time to get a drink and find a seat before the ceremony begins at 5:00.

Can I take photos?
Answer
We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos of the rest of the night! Just please ensure you share with them the bride and groom ASAP!

What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
After we say “I do,” we welcome you to join us for cocktail hour where we will serve beer, wine, cocktails, and light hors d’oeuvres. The bride and groom plan to attend cocktail hour as soon as a few family photos are taken.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Heck yeah! We will be offering a full open bar of wine, beer, and spirits - please enjoy all the yummy drinks that The Lilly Pad creates!

What time does the reception end? Will there be an after party?
Answer
The reception will end at 11:00 pm, but we can continue the celebration on the property until 12am!

What will the weather be like?
Answer
It should be a beautiful spring day but the location is on the James River so please check weather as the date gets closer, it could be a hot one or it could rain and the venues is all outside. Please keep that in mind when thinking of how to dress and what shoes to wear.
