We meet at southwest high school. I had just transferred from up north, and knew a handful of people, and I helped that my brother went to Washburn. When I come to southwest Ron and I shared the same group of friends. We started to hang out more and more especially during my seventh period class… It wasn’t until years later that I learned, that I was walking past him with our mutual friends that he would say the line of “she’s one of us”. Little did I know what that meant but I’m glad he meant it or rather said it.
We were talking while he was at camp, and I wanted to take things slow. Try to live the single life is what I told myself. Boy was I wrong. On our first date after he got home, so the 24th at caribou, was nice and we talked a lot. We sat there for what felt like hours and it probably was. Although I got called into work at Dairy Queen, and I just left him to fend for himself. Sorry
We were in California on one of last days for the trip. It was my parents, brother, aunts, uncle and my mom’s friend. We went to terra-Linda climbing area, we went to an area that over looked sleepy hollow. On the top we all stop to take in the view, little did I know that Ron was going get down one knee and ask. He asked, and I said yes! Fun fact I was also suffering from allergies all week, tired from climbing the last three days or so.
