Thanks to our longtime mutual friends, Courteney and Tylar—who swore we were meant to meet—we finally crossed paths officially at a soccer game in April 2024. Dalton’s birthday weekend came with an extra surprise—just not for him. On the morning of July 12, 2025, he somehow convinced Haley to leave her cozy bed “to watch the sunrise” at Emerald Isle. Suspicious? A little. But she went with it. As the sun started to rise and the sleepy waves rolled in, Dalton got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. Haley said yes (through happy tears and a lot of shocked laughter), and just like that, the early wake-up call was totally worth it.
