Our “love story” was woven perfectly together by God himself. When Chris and I met it was at a wedding in 2016, well technically we didn’t meet there...Chris saw me on the dance floor and I immediately won him over with my awesome dance moves. Almost a year later I noticed him liking all my Facebook pictures and adding me on social media. He started commenting on my snapchats and saying sweet things(very millennial, we know). I thought he still had a girlfriend so I asked our friend Stephanie if he was single and what his deal was. She said he was and that he had been crushing on me for a while. So we continued to talk and the next week had our first date. I think it’s safe to say that date changed both of our lives and we had that immediate connection of when you know you know. Our second date Chris told me he was leaving for a year to go work in Florida. Um what!?! But once again God knew what he was doing and we were forced to get to know one another and find things to talk about. Without that year who knows where we would be. The rest is history. Once he moved home we grew closer and he grew closer with Preston. I knew he was going to be the best husband and father to Preston and me. Every single day we realize how blessed we are and how our relationship was truly part of God’s plan for our lives. Our love for each other grows everyday and we will continue to write our “love story” for the rest of our lives.
