Wedding Party

Meet our family & friends who will not only be present but have meant so much to our story!!

Hannah Sharp

Maid of Honor

Hannah is Hope's only sister & day one! From sharing a room for years, sharing a home for one, and living in Lubbock for 4 years, Hannah & Hope are not only sisters, but best friends. Hannah attends The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (a theological legend if you will) in Louisville, KY and has the cutest beagle, Lou! Ask Hannah about the Band Camino, Texas Tech Basketball, & the fall of Barnes & Noble.

Tori Sokolow

Bridesmaid

Tori was Hope's roommate in Tuscaloosa. Tori is a NICU nurse and loves caring for babies and families. When Hope met Tori she knew they would be friends by Tori's love of deep conversations, Jesus, and of course, long walks. Ask Tori about her doggo, Loosa, coffee, and her journey as a pilates instructor.

Taryn Glenn

Bridesmaid

Taryn (or Tarry, as Hope loves to call her) was one of Hope's first college friends. Being sorority sisters in undergrad, Taryn & Hope's friendship took off during covid. Taryn is the crazy to Hope's calm and makes every room fun & intentional. Taryn is a Labor & Delivery nurse in Austin, Texas and cares for people so well. Ask Taryn about New City Church, Fleetwood Mac, and Hope & Taryn's joint Halloween costume (Lizzie Maguire Movie)

Macie Alston

Bridesmaid

Macie was Hope's roommate for two years in Lubbock and is a high school math teacher in Austin, Texas. Macie moved in and Hope knew they would get along as a fellow "Seamoss girly" and coffee-lover. Macie is a gem and makes every person feel seen. Ask Macie about her doggo, Winnie, recipes (because she's always cooking up something good), and how our families know one another.

Kayla Snyder

Bridesmaid

Kayla is Ethan's little (not so little) sister. Kayla is a talented photographer and stellar volleyball player who will be attending Liberty University in the Fall. Kayla has seen it all through Hope & Ethan's relationship. It's an honor to have her stand beside me not only as a new sister- in- law, but as a friend.

Holli Eckles

Bridesmaid

Holli was also Hope's roommate in Lubbock for 2.5 years. Holli & Hope became quick friends after Covid and moved in together. Holli is an avid Texas Tech fan and a nurse in Lubbock with her husband Carter. She cares so intentionally for others and is a "kid whisperer". Holli is an all around amazing, intelligent, & wise friend!

Krista Sharp

Bridesmaid

Krista is Hope's sister-in- law and has been the sweetest edition to the Sharp clan. Krista has been there through it all with Hope & Ethan sharing lots of advice about long-distance dating. Krista is so kind, fun, and makes every person feel valued in a room. Ask Krista about a few years of childhood in Japan!

Natalie Eastabrook

Bridesmaid

Natalie & Hope got to be friends in the freshmen course- Soundscapes. Both being music minors, Natalie & Hope took a class together about every semester (from songwriting to music of the renaissance). Additionally, Hope & Natalie studied abroad at the same time and met in Rome for a weekend (pictured). Natalie loves C.S. Lewis and is an English teacher in North Carolina. Natalie fiercely loves people and the Lord and I'm honored to have her by my side. Ask Nat about the outdoors or literature!

Jen Sharp

Bridesmaid

Jen is Hope's sister-in-law & has been the sweetest & spunkiest addition to the Sharp clan. Jen is incredibly fun and makes everyone laugh. Jen works in Houston and has a beautiful heart for ministry. Hope actually met Jen before Brady asked her out when Hope did the missions internship program at Houston's first (she knew there was something between them even if they didn't yet):) Ask Jen about living in China for 2 years!

Victoria Rodriguez

Bridesmaid

Vic was Hope's little in their sorority RSC. When Hope met Vic, she knew she wanted her to be her little. Although their friendship started off as big/little, they soon began to work in the infamous Student Government Office at Texas Tech together. Here they talked about life, boys (Ethan included), and their walks with Christ. We were not the best workers because we liked to talk too much. Vic serves in ministry in Austin and loves people so well.

Ainzlee Spencer

Bridesmaid

Ainzlee & Hope met leading Student Life worship together in 2021. Ainzlee has the voice and heart of an angel. During their second summer, Hope & Ainzlee served together in worship once more, creating a depth of friendship that has only grown. When Hope moved to Alabama, she was only an hour & a half from Ainzlee! Ainzlee just married Kyle (also Student Life 2021) and their love story accompanies ours as a testament of camp love.

Sam Donelson

Best Man

YEO it's Sam! I don't know if you know this, but he's kind of a big deal. Ethan and Sam met in 2019 during their first semester at Liberty University, and ever since then they've become best friends. From late nights studying for Calc III and Thermodynamics tests, cross country roadtrips (except Tennessee), and to belting anything between John Denver and Olivia Rodrigo, Sam is the kind of guy you want in your corner, and he is a good friend. Whether it was countless hours of Marvel discussions or leading Bible studies together, Ethan and Sam were always on the same page. Ask him about why Spider-Man 2 is the best movie in the franchise, his favorite kind of coffee, and the BIRDS!

Sean Snyder

Groomsman

Ethan's earliest memory of Sean is him being pushed down the stairs in a large plastic bin when they were children. Sean, or "Buddy," is the oldest brother of the Snyder clan. Buddy was an excellent athlete in High School, even making it to the State and National levels for Track & Field, a skill that helped with the ding dong ditching they got up to. He and Ethan (and Brady as well) got into all manner of trouble when they were younger. Whether it was foolish or a serious matter, he was the one Ethan looked to. No matter where he went, Brady and Ethan followed. He is the first Liberty University graduate in the family, he is married with two children, and is currently employed in the Navy. Ask him about his favorite board games (he's an expert), what book series he's currently in, and about the downfall of Disney.

Brady Snyder

Groomsman

Coincidentally, Ethan's oldest memory of Brady is him being pushed down the stairs in the same plastic bin right after Buddy came upstairs with it and proved it wasn't ~entirely~ dangerous. Brady is the second oldest brother in the Snyder Family, and everything that he and Buddy got up to, Ethan was close behind. Brady was involved with everything under the sun: he was on the debate team, always loved fishing, and he helped restore his great grandfathers 1960 Ford F100. He loves to hunt, and he knows more American history than anyone. He is the second Snyder graduate from Liberty University, he is married, and he is currently a Lawyer in Virginia. Ask him about his favorite period of American history, his favorite fishing stories, and the grand scale Airsoft battles we used to have in Noah's backyard.

Samuel Provido

Groomsman

They don't call him "Eastern University's Messi" for nothing. Samuel and Ethan met in 2016 when the two of them went on a trip to the United Kingdom and France with a group of school kids, and a little over a year later they became brothers. While they did not attend the same school, play the same sports, or even engage in most of the same hobbies, Ethan and Samuel did plenty of things together, and he is blessed to have Samuel as his family. They both enjoy surfing, playing video games, and (when they both lived at home) they went on more trips to Cookout than was probably physically or financially healthy. Samuel is currently attending Eastern University in Pennsylvania, where he is also the best player of their soccer team. Ask him about everywhere he's played soccer in the world and his fishing business!

Noah Higgins

Groomsman

This guy! Noah and Ethan met at church when they were younger, and he has been Ethan's dearest friend through many dangers. Over the years, they have shared in a number of adventures together, including kayaking a very sizable distance of the Elizabeth River (well past midnight), raiding the local Kroger over a hundred times, and exploring a handful of abandoned properties. Noah is a wild card, and the two of them have gone from speaking utter nonsense to deep theological discussions in a heartbeat more times than you could follow. If you get the chance, ask him about his job teaching the next generation about Christ at his church, his favorite theological topic (why Job's Leviathan is a crocodile), and Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archives series.

Luke Brandal

Groomsman

EYYYY it's Luke! Ethan and Luke met in middle school at church, and immediately shared several interests. Along with Noah, both of them have spent numerous hours talking about the Bible, playing video games together, and singlehandedly keeping the local Kroger afloat. They also share a musical affinity, and Luke is an extremely gifted guitarist and vocalist that he uses to serve at his church. Between the garage jam sessions, hilarious jokes, and intentional conversations, Luke has proven himself an amazing friend through and through. He is currently in school at Liberty University, and he's going to make an excellent preacher someday. Talk to him about his favorite band, why jazz is underrated, and what his ideal guitar would be!

Myles Weatherford

Groomsman

Tolkien once wrote, "A loyal friend is of value beyond measure," and Myles is such a friend as this. Ethan met Myles the same summer he met Hope. In 2021, they served on the same team for Student Life Camps, where Myles was a Rec Squad Leader that led the students in all sorts of games. Like Ethan, Myles is a thoroughly hopeless J. R. R. Tolkien fanatic, and if all the hours the two of them spent talking about the author were to be added up, it would amount to several days. Myles is also a Liberty University graduate, and he now works as a Children's Pastor in Pennsylvania! Ask him about the time he and Ethan found a first edition of Tolkien's "The Silmarillion," his favorite Lord of the Rings scene, or his favorite thing about children's ministry!

Caiden Witmer

Groomsman

This guy taught Ethan how to pronounce "Lancaster." Caiden was another college friend that Ethan did virtually everything with. Roommates for three semesters, the two of them first met in the common area playing video games together (along with Ty and Sam), and quickly struck up a friendship. Quickly, they discovered they had a shared interest in the "Legend of Zelda" franchise which they often talked about when they went rock climbing at the university gym multiple times a week. Whether it was gaming, climbing, or just sitting in the common area talking, Caiden and Ethan were often found near one another throughout college. If you get the chance, ask him about his favorite Zelda game, the time they hiked Devil's Marble Yard in Virginia, or the version of Rock-Paper-Scissors that they invented at 3 AM.

Zach Hill

Groomsman

You can always find Zach doing Zach things. Ethan met Zach in 2019 when he came to visit his childhood friend Sam (the same one), and he transferred to Liberty University shortly thereafter. Very quickly, Zach jumped into the friend group as if he had always been there, and the two of them had the privilege of serving on the same hall leadership team together alongside Sam and Ty. He loves the gym, Spider-Man, and Spider-Man again. He is currently working at Liberty University as a spiritual mentor to several younger students. If you get a moment with Zach, ask him about his job, his gym routine, or the time he and Ethan helped set up the stage for Liberty's weekly convocation.
