My Twin! Since the age of 15 we’ve been best friends. When you think of a best friend, you think of someone who helps you grow in faith, values, and as a person. Jake is that guy for me. I’m truly blessed to have him be my best man. We would be having a different conversation if he wasn’t a panthers fan!

I met Matt the same night that I hung out with Sammi for the first time. I remember thinking to myself…”man this kid looks like he is 5, but I’ll be his friend.” If I could describe Matt, this is what it would be. Matt is the kinda guy that would give you the shirt off your back….mainly because he is ripping it off while he’s dancing!

My BEST FRIEND and right hand man. Kip is amazing friend to me. In January, we will have known each other for about a year. It blows my mind where our band has gone but more importantly how much our friendship has grown this last year! I’m jealous of his hair cause Sammi won’t let me grow it out that long. Finally a grown man who is shorter than me! Travis is my sisters husband, and one of the people in my life I trust the most. Travis is the reason my index finger almost broke off with a plastic football. Travis is one of those guys who push you to be better in every aspect. We also have the same car!

My best redneck friend! Not many people can relate to the bond that two submariners have. Justin was there the day I got my Dolphins pinned on me. When I got stationed in Georgia I lived with Justin. Over the last 7 years, our friendship has grown big time. From football to swimming in his lake to spades battles, I couldn’t have asked for a different sub brother!

This one is pretty cool. I’ve always wanted to live in a world where I have a little brother. God thought it would be funny to give me a brother-in-law who is younger than me but is about 3 feet taller than me! *eyeroll* The first time I met Toby he told Sammi after he left that I was super cool. I’m excited to have a little brother, but beat him in every sport!

So the joke around Dave and I was that I’ve been “obsessed” with him since I was 12. In all reality he was the only person in my family who never bullied me. Dave has been the most supportive person about moving to North Carolina! An awesome guy to have as a mentor, friend, and beer buddy!

I finally have the sister I always wanted!! Brittney is Danny's older sister and she is amazing. I have not had the chance to spend a ton of time with her yet, but I really admire her as a mama. Her sweet kids, Rossi and Sawyer are adorable and super cute. I am so excited to have a niece and nephew and a sister!!

Jill is my friend where I always find myself saying "ME TOO!" She is all things lovely and bougie. I always appreciate how my time with Jill leaves me feeling closer to Jesus- she has a special way of making you feel so seen and loved. We spend pretty much every Sunday evening together laughing, playing cards and eating nachos to scare off the Monday back to work scaries.

Lindsay is hands down one of the most creative, intentional, and caring people I have ever had the pleasure of being known by. If I ever want to try out a new coffee shop or restaurant, Linds is my go-to girl.

When I took a job as a nanny for a family in Davidson, I never in my wildest dreams imagined I would gain some of my best friends! Kornti is one of the funniest, most down-to-earth people I have ever met. Her generosity has forever impacted me and makes me want to be more intentional and generous. She is an amazing mama and I so admire her strength and grit. Her sweet babies, Deacon and LillyAnn, take up a lot of room in my heart and I am so thankful I took a nanny job 3.5 years ago!

Jenn (or JennBoo as I call her!) has pretty much been in my life for every major event since middle school! From church shenanigans to international travel, I can always count on Jenn to be right by my side, ride or die, and OG mom friend. She is the most incredibly detailed person, makes the best candles in Lake Norman, and makes me laugh harder than anyone I know. She is a fierce mama bear and I hope I can be half the mom she is one day.
