We met at the All Church Workers Conference in Phoenix, AZ. (Kevin jokes that Tessa kept following him to the different sessions he was attending) We, actually ended up randomly attending two of the same sessions. After connecting a little bit, we realized we lived only 20 minutes from each other, even though there were people from California, Arizona, and Nevada at the conference. Finally, at the last minute after the conference was over, Kevin asked Tessa for her number, but we had to wait over a week to meet up because of the Thanksgiving weekend. As they say, the rest is history.
