Question

Do I need a visa to travel to Bali?

Answer

Yes. All international guests need a visa to enter Indonesia but it's simple and only takes a few minutes. Please visit the Travel page for step-by-step instructions and important links.

Question

What is the closest airport?

Answer

The closest airport is I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Denpasar. It is approximately 40–45 minutes from Uluwatu (where our hotel and wedding venue are located), depending on traffic.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We will be staying at Radisson Blu Resort, Uluwatu and would love for you to join us! Please see the "Travel" page for details and the coupon code.

Question

How do I get around Bali?

Answer

From the Airport, you can use popular ride-hailing apps like Grab and Gojek, or have the hotel arrange a driver for you. For full-day exploring, hiring a private driver is the most convenient and affordable option. We’ll share a list of trusted drivers closer to the wedding.

Question

Will transportation be provided on the wedding day?

Answer

Yes. We will provide air-conditioned shuttle service from the main hotel to the wedding venue. Shuttles will begin at 3:00 PM and run approximately every 15 minutes.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Black-Tie Optional / Formal We encouraged a polished, formal look in rich, timeless tones – black, navy, chocolate, deep greens & reds and other jewel or refined earth tones. Lightweight fabrics like linen are encouraged for comfort in the tropical climate. Women: Floor-length gown or elegant cocktail attire Men: Tuxedo welcome and ties welcome but not required; open collar is perfectly acceptable

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

October in Bali is warm, humid, and tropical. Expect temperatures around 75–85°F (24–30°C). Light, breathable fabrics and comfortable shoes are recommended.

Question

How long should we stay in Bali?

Answer

We recommend staying at least 4–7 days if your schedule allows. Bali has many different regions, each with its own vibe—from beach towns to jungle retreats. You’ll find our favorite areas and recommendations on the Things To Do page.

Question

Do I need to bring cash?

Answer

Yes. Most hotels and larger restaurants accept cards, but smaller cafés, markets, and local vendors are often cash-only. Small denominations are useful for taxis, tips, and small purchases. ATMs are widely available across the island. Small tips are appreciated for drivers, spa staff, and hotel staff. About 5–10% or rounding up the bill is typical.

Question

Can I bring a Plus One?

Answer

In an effort to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. Your formal invitation will be made out to “{Your Name} & Guest” if you have received a Plus One – they will also appear under your name when you RSVP.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope this allows everyone to relax and fully enjoy the evening.
