What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

The address of the church where the ceremony will take place is 94 Somerset St, New Brunswick, NJ 08901. Is there parking available near St. Peter's Catholic Church and The Palace?

Answer

For guests within driving distance of the church, complimentary parking will be available at the parking lots to the left and right of the church and at the Gateway Garage, conveniently located nearby. Guests are kindly invited to park at either of the two parking lots or the Gateway parking garage for the ceremony. Parking vouchers will be provided by the church to ensure free parking upon exit for either of the 3 parking locations. Please remember to obtain a voucher before departing. The address of the Gateway Garage is 7 Wall St, New Brunswick, NJ 08901. You can use this link to view the location in Google Maps. https://maps.app.goo.gl/X4MuPGfsJ4sLnGHV6 For guests within driving distance of The Palace, ample parking is available just outside the East Ballroom, located on the right side of the building. In addition, valet parking will be offered for your convenience upon arrival.

What's the easiest way to get to and from The Palace?

Answer

We will be providing shuttle service between the Bridgewater Marriott Hotel and The Palace. Ahead of the cocktail hour, there will be a shuttle leaving the hotel at 4:30pm. After the reception, the shuttle will be transporting hotel guests back to the hotel at 11:15pm. Please note, only guests that book within the wedding room block will be able to take advantage of the shuttle service. Anyone booking outside the block will not be included in the final count.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We have reserved a room block at the Bridgewater Marriott Hotel. Please book your stay by Friday, December 5th to guarantee a room in our block. Please mention the Collado-Kupec wedding while booking to receive our reduced rate. For more information, please refer to the Travel & Transportation on our wedding website.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the Bridgewater Marriott Hotel for the wedding?

Answer

We will not be providing guest transportation to and from St. Peter's Catholic Church where our ceremony will take place. A transportation shuttle will be available to transport guests that have a room block between the hotel and the reception venue where our cocktail hour and reception will take place. Departure times from hotel to reception venue is 4:30pm and from reception venue back to hotel is 11:15pm.

What is the weather and climate like in the area?

January in Central New Jersey brings chilly winter temperatures, typically between the low 30s and mid-40s°F. While snow is possible, it’s often light. We recommend bringing a warm coat — a coat check will be provided at the reception for your convenience.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation attend the celebration. We are unable to accommodate additional guests or plus-ones beyond those named on the invitation.

We love your children, but we cannot accommodate additional guests beyond those named on the invitation.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception, however, we do recommend bringing cash or a credit card along if you plan to attend the after-party, as drinks after the reception will not be covered.

You can find our complete wedding registry here on our website (and purchase directly from our wish list) under the "Registry" tab. We will also have a wedding card box at our reception.

What is the wedding day itinerary?

Answer

Our wedding will take place at St. Peter's Catholic Church on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026. The ceremony will begin at 1:00pm sharp (Please arrive no earlier than 12:30pm). Our cocktail hour will take place at The Palace at Somerset Park and will start at 5:00pm followed by the reception at 6:00pm, which is anticipated to wrap around 11:00pm.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The doors to the church will open one hour ahead of our ceremony time at 12:00pm. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space (located about a 5-minute walk from the parking garage) and find a seat.

What time should I arrive at your wedding reception?

Answer

The doors to the venue will open at 5:00pm sharp. We recommend arriving at the reception venue no earlier than 15 minutes prior. However, to take full advantage of the cocktail hour's food and drinks please arrive by 5:00pm.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

Our reception will end around 11:00pm, after which there will be an after-party at the Bridgewater Marriott Hotel's lobby bar. All are invited to continue the party post reception—there will be a cash bar and complementary late-night bites. A transportation shuttle will be available to those who have booked a room at the hotel (Departure time is 11:15pm)

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony will conclude at approximately 2:00 PM, and the cocktail hour and reception will begin promptly at 5:00 PM at The Palace. Guests are welcome to take this time to relax, freshen up, or explore the nearby area before joining us for the evening celebration of cocktails and dancing!

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I'm in town for your wedding?

Answer

Please refer to the “Things to Do” section of our website to explore nearby bars, restaurants, and cafés. We encourage guests to enjoy one of these local spots during the time between the ceremony and reception.

Am I allowed to take photos during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos at our wedding ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day.

Yes! We’d love for you to share photos and memories from our wedding day. Feel free to post and celebrate with us — we can’t wait to see your favorite moments!
