The absolute best place to get a sandwich (or any lunch) at the oceanfront. They'll even deliver to you on the beach. Make sure to get extra house dressing.
ViBe Creative District
The ViBe Creative District is the young, hip area of the oceanfront with tons of shopping, restaurants, art galleries, and more. Hit the skate park outside of WRV and you're officially a local.
Jungle Golf
Jungle Golf is a staple of the oceanfront and was Garrett's first employer back in high school. For players looking to swing a little harder there is a new golf simulator bar called Hackers, a Top Golf, and a public course all within a couple miles of the hotels.
Tarnished Truth Distilling Co.
The Cavalier Hotel has its own distillery inside the hotel. Book a tour and enjoy their bourbon whiskey in the prohibition era-inspired Hunt Room.
Boutique Shopping
Check out the Vibe Creative District, The Shops at 31Ocean, and other hole in the wall boutiques along Atlantic Avenue.
First Landing State Park
For those looking for a little further distance of a ride, First Landing State Park is amazing mix of nature and history. Right at the top of what's called the North End of the beach where the Atlantic Ocean meets the mouth of the Chesapeake bay, this park is where English colonists first landed in 1607. Here you can see the Cape Henry Lighthouse (the first federal building in America) and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel (one of the world's longest bridges).
Eat and Drink

Virginia Beach | (OBX) Horseback
One of our first dates in Virginia Beach. You might get lucky like Garrett and ride the horse that Ari rode on the Bachelor.
Virginia Beach Fishing Pier
Just down the boardwalk you can rent some gear and hope to catch some Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, Spot, or Spade fish. This pier also features some great seafood and one of the best burgers at the beach at Ocean Eddie's.
Smartmouth Brewing Pilot House
Located in a former post office, just three blocks from the Virginia Beach oceanfront, the fully-renovated Pilot House is the ideal pre-beach, post-beach and instead-of-the-beach spot for those looking to enjoy a fresh pint.
Atlantic Fun Park
Wouldn't be a boardwalk without a fun park. Down the boardwalk near the pier, this park will give you that childhood nostalgia you've been yearning for. Ride at your own risk.
