Sharon and Cooper grew up going to the same church in Anaheim. His sister and mother were Sharon's pre-k teachers for Wednesday night service. Cooper was the rowdy outgoing kid doing flips off of chairs and stage, while Sharon was more quiet and kept to herself. They vaguely remember each other in passing, until Sharon's family moved next door to the Hernandez's in August 2010. They were next door neighbors and attended all their senior year dances together when they graduated high school in 2016. Sharon then went to Arizona for college and Cooper stayed in Orange.

Sharon came back to Orange in June 2020 after completing her undergrad. Cooper and Sharon had hung out a couple time, then one day Cooper tried kissing Sharon as she was leaving. She dodged the kiss and left confused. They met up later to talk and discuss the kiss, and have been together ever since. Cooper proposed on November 16th, 2024 at Dripp Coffee in Fullerton where they had their first date.
