How we met: We first met each other in July 2018, our coworker Angela asked “if I knew the name of this new guy in the IT department?” Since Angela and I worked closely together she found the opportunity to say to me , “The new IT guy from our office doesn’t have a ring on! Go introduce yourself!” After a few attempts, I took the courage to say Hi! Perfect timing! I found Captain America coming in for the rescue! Marvel fan!! Hey, I was one too! After that… I was at ease speaking to Benny. First Date: Few months later in March 2019, Benny came again asking “where was a sushi spot around the area and asked if I was open to the idea of going with him?” I will go to Laku Sushi, if you are willing to go to church the following weekend in response. I got his digits beforehand just in case I would need to use it knowing that I was terrible with directions. I thought the GPS would be helpful…it ended up not working, I was spinning around in circles in Morristown, Thankfully, I was able to find a police woman who was off duty to help! She was indeed very helpful, she said, “I’ll bring you there myself!” After our sushi meal, we just went to the movie theater to watch our first movie together, “Captain Marvel.” The Proposal: On Valentine’s Day 2024, Benny told me that he wanted to go to Eagle Rock Reservation - a scenic overlook of New York City and to a nearby diner called Chit Chat Diner. After a cold snowstorm we walked through the snow to a gazebo unexpectedly, he popped the question!
