How We Met

July 2023

After both swearing off relationships for a while, we took a leap of faith and decided to meet in person after a month of getting to know each other virtually. From the moment we met, we instantly clicked, and Christian was so excited that he planned our next date later that same week. Our second date truly felt magical. We spent the afternoon at a lakeside picnic, sharing childhood stories, talking about our hopes and dreams for the future, and deepening our connection. It was during this moment that we both knew we had found something special—something that would last forever. It was also at this very spot that Christian proposed, marking the beginning of our forever together.

The Proposal

January 18, 2025

Our proposal was a moment we will always treasure. Christian spent weeks planning with friends and family to create a special experience at the lake, and even had to reschedule a couple of times before everything aligned. We were both filled with anticipation—Christian making sure every detail was perfect, and Sharon completely unaware of the surprise, trusting everyone to keep the secret. On the day, Christian took Sharon out for a leisurely lunch at one of the best restaurants in town, giving time for the preparations to fall into place. Afterwards, under the pretense of picking up some “dry cleaning,” he led her to the lake—the very shoreline where we had shared our second date. There, standing by the icy lake as snow fell softly around us, Christian spoke from the heart, recalling that day and sharing how he had known then that Sharon was the one he wished to marry. Only after the proposal did our family and friends reveal themselves, filling the quiet winter landscape with cheers and applause, celebrating the beginning of our forever together.
