When and where is the wedding?

We are getting married on Saturday, October 2, 2027, at Hawk Ranch in Murrieta, California. The ceremony and reception are both at Hawk Ranch, so there is no need to travel between venues.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin in the late afternoon. We will confirm the exact start time on your formal invitation, so please plan to arrive about thirty minutes before it begins to park and settle in.

What is the schedule for the day?

Answer

The celebration will flow from the ceremony into cocktail hour, then dinner and dancing in the evening. Exact times will be on your formal invitation and our Celebration page as we finalize them.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Hawk Ranch is a beautiful outdoor venue. October evenings cool down, so bring a wrap or light layer for after sunset.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Garden formal. Picture golden hour on the ranch: elegant, romantic, and easy to move in. We will be outside as the evening cools, so comfortable shoes and a layer you love will carry you from the ceremony to the last dance.

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

Since much of the evening is outdoors on grass, we recommend block heels, wedges, or flats over thin stilettos.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have gathered a few favorite hotels in Murrieta and nearby Temecula wine country on our Travel & Stay page. If you are making a weekend of it, wine country is a lovely place to stay.

How far is the venue from San Diego?

Answer

About 45 minutes north, an easy and pretty drive up the I-15.

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest are San Diego (SAN), Orange County (SNA), and Ontario (ONT), each about an hour away. We recommend renting a car, as the area is best explored on wheels.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there is plenty of parking on-site.

How do I get home safely after the celebration?

Answer

Please plan a safe way home. Rideshare can be limited late at night, so we suggest arranging a ride in advance, choosing a designated driver, or booking a room nearby.

Your presence is the greatest gift of all. Rather than a traditional registry, we are gratefully accepting contributions toward our future and honeymoon. You can find the details on our Registry page.

Can I bring a guest or plus one?

Answer

Your invitation will let you know if a guest is included. If it is addressed to you and a guest, we would love for you to bring someone.
