Nope. We're on!
Update 5/20: Ohio has lifted its mask mandate for everyone who is fully vaccinated. Below are the venue's current protocols: Guests will no longer be required to wear a mask. Temperatures will no longer be checked and guests no longer have to sign a waiver. Staff will continue to wear a mask while moving throughout the venues. Hand Sanitizer bottles will be placed on guest tables, bars, restrooms and throughout the venue.
The Pinecroft is a beautiful estate and both the wedding and reception will be here. The wedding and cocktail hour will take place outside. The reception is in a large well-ventilated tent.
Updated 5/17- Yes! We will be providing transportation from the hotel to the venue and back at the end of the night. Two shuttle busses will leave the hotel at 4:30pm and we will have two return times, the first leaving early at 10:30pm and the last shuttle leaving at 11:45 after the sparkler send off. The venue is less than 20 minutes from the hotel and Ubers are easy to get if you would prefer that. If you would prefer to drive to the venue, parking is available. If you leave your car overnight you must pick it up by 12pm the following morning.
After a year of staying at home, we are eager to dress up and party at a fancy estate, and we're sure that many of you are as well. Cocktail attire and up is the official dress code - suits, jackets, and dresses are entirely appropriate. Most of all though, we want people to be comfortable and enjoy themselves. The ceremony and cocktail hour are outside, so you will most likely be walking on grass and feeling the hot Cincinnati sun.
The wedding is at the former home of Cincinnati inventor and entrepreneur Powel Crosley. Among many other things, Crosley was at one point the largest radio manufacturer in the world, the creator of Cincinnati radio station WLW, and the owner of the Cincinnati Reds. There will be a tour of the house led by a local historian during cocktail hour.
