Rob and I were blessed to have mutual friends, Russell and Sandy Jones. In the summer of 2016, I first saw Rob at a public event where he sat on the other side of Russell and I sat on the other side of Sandy. I left early and so did not meet him until weeks later when we both ended up at the Jones' house on a Sunday. We talked and I thought he was nice. Later he told me that he thought I was too young. Over the next couple of years, we would see each other at a few other events and also discuss the possibility of my friend and I coming to his house to shoot our guns. That never materialized. However, around December 1, 2018, Russell and Sandy invited Rob and I, separately and with no intention to matchmake, to both attend the Journey to Judea at Countryside Church with them. They asked both of us if we were okay with the other one being there since we were not a match and we both agreed it was fine. As we prepared to leave the Journey to Judea, Rob wanted asked me if I was would come and eat with himself, Russell and Sandy. I said okay and we ended up, just the four of us at an Asian restaurant. Rob asked if he could pay for my food and I agreed. Later, he asked me if I would attend a Christmas event with him the next Saturday on Dec 9. I agreed to go and the rest, as they say, is history! We started seeing each other once a week, and that proceeded to more times per week and on May 4, 2019, we were married in a private ceremony. We would like to share with our family and friends in celebration of our union on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 11-2. We will have a catered meal, cake, and renewal of our wedding vows with Pastor Rick. We hope to see you there!!!
