Our story started off as college best friends at Cal State Northridge. It wasn’t until after we both graduated and a little teasing from friends, that we realized we were meant to be! We started dating around 2013 and haven’t looked back since!

Saturday, December 12, 2020 was supposed to be a day celebrating Tony; it’s his birthday after all! However, this date became even more special when he decided to get down on one knee and ask Sharmane to spend forever with him as his wife. The plan for the day, as she knew it, was to go to the mall, grab Benihana’s and come back and watch Versus. Everything was on schedule until they got back home and were greeted with rose pedals, loved ones and camera flashes. Tony grabbed Sharmane’s hand and led her to backyard where their lives changed forever. The mood was set with a saxophonist playing beautiful love songs, a will you marry me sign, candles, more rose pedals, champagne; a scene straight out of a perfect fairytale! Like a poet, Tony asked her to marry him, she of course screamed YES and they danced the night away to Keke Wyatt and Avant-Nothing in This World.
