Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Rochelle Sharmaine Bañez Zapata and Devan David Nabong Legaspi
Visit "The Hawaii Vacation Guide" on Youtube & watch their videos for things to do/places to visit in Maui, as well as helpful tips! Here is a link to their Maui videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXJVyEowf8o&list=PLAtd_s8w8KUVpbUH1AcvcwOGzBPZ-CFtg The recommendations below are some places we have visited and would like to visit ourselves! Feel free to also look at the photo above for other attractions. I also highly recommend watching The Hawaii Vacation Guide videos on Youtube. Check back later for additional recommendations!

Front Street

Front Street, Lahaina, HI

This is Lahaina's downtown area. It's the best place to shop for souvenirs, go to bars/restaurants/dessert shops, and hang at the Banyan Court where the oldest banyan tree in Maui resides. **For shaved ice on Front Street, go to Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice.

Whalers Village

2435 Kaanapali Parkway, Lahaina, HI 96761

Beachside shopping mall with boutique and restaurants.

Kapalua Bay & Napili Bay

Both are great places for the best snorkeling. Arrive early to beat the large crowd. Kapalua Bay is most famous for snorkeling, however, Napili Bay is popular with families for its smaller waves.

ʻĪao Valley State Monument

54 South High Street, Wailuku, HI 96793

Views of the Iao needle, and a short and easy hiking trail. Recommended for all ages.

Down The Hatch

658 Front St # 102, Lahaina, HI 96761

One of our favorite restaurants. Best for lunch or dinner! Recommendations: lava shrimp, fish & chips, and whole fried fish.

808 Grindz Cafe & Castaway Cafe

Lahaina, HI 96761

Two different restaurants: 808 Grindz Cafe: Best for breakfast or brunch & wide selection of inexpensive loco moco. **NOTE: CASH ONLY. Castaway Cafe: for their boneless shortrib loco moco. **NOTE: long waiting line & no reservations.

Haleakalā National Park

HI

This park is located on the slope of the inactive 10,023-foot Haleakala Volcano. This is a popular spot where many people come to see the sunrise. For smaller crowds and an equally stunning view, visit the peak at sunset instead. **NOTE: sunrise views will require a reservation to enter the park. You can book a reservation 60 days before your visit.

Pipiwai Trail

Hana Highway, Hana, HI 96713
, (808) 587-0166

The Pipiwai Trail is a 4-mile hiking trail that leads up to a beautiful bamboo forest, the Makahiku Falls, and Waimoku Falls. The trail is accessed from the Haleakalā National Park.

Road to Hana

Hana, HI 96713

Book a tour of the “Road to Hana” to see waterfalls, beaches (including a black sand beach), tropical fruit & farm stands, swimming locations, ocean-side cliffs, windswept hill-tops, and more. You may also do the Road to Hana yourselves with a car, however, parking will be limited. Watch Youtube videos to see which stops are highly recommended. **NOTE: The Wai-anapanapa Black Sand Beach will require a reservation.

Wai'anapanapa Black Sand Beach

Hana, HI 96713

A black sand beach on the East side of Maui. One of the stops on Road to Hana. **NOTE: Reservations are required-be sure to reserve your spot before visiting!

Honokeana Bay

Napili-Honokowai, HI 96761

Great place to snorkel with sea turtles. **Please do not touch them & stay 10 feet away.

For all the days along the way
