Tyler and Savannah went on their first date on October 6, 2024, to see The Menzingers and The Wonder Years at The NorVa in Norfolk, VA. They clicked instantly and soon started spending every spare moment together—bowling, enjoying delicious food, going to wine festivals, and catching plenty more concerts. Even with both of them serving tours aboard ships, they made the most of every moment they had together. On the morning of November 2, 2025, Tyler proposed to Savannah. She had just finished an overnight duty shift and made pancakes and coffee for a cozy breakfast-in-bed morning. Tyler mentioned he needed to grab a package from the lobby—but really, he had the ring in his pocket the whole time. When he returned, he got down on one knee and asked Savannah to marry him in their happy home, with their fur baby Ollie by their side. Savannah said yes—it was the easiest yes ever! Later that day, the newly engaged couple headed to Washington, D.C., to celebrate at a Hot Mulligan concert. This summer, Savannah and Tyler will be moving to Jacksonville, FL, ready to start their married life together and enjoy everything Florida has to offer!
