Haley and John met during their senior year at the University of Connecticut. Their first date was at Dog Lane Cafe and they quickly bonded over their shared love of watching (and debating!) Survivor. After four years of long distance — and countless drives between New Jersey and Connecticut — Haley moved to Connecticut in the fall of 2024. The following spring, in May 2025, John proposed in Lucerne, Switzerland (the view from where they got engaged is pictured below). Afterward, they celebrated their engagement in Paris, where they also took their engagement photos. Haley and John are endlessly grateful for the love and support of their family and friends and can’t wait to celebrate with everyone!
