For airports we recommend flying from CVG into St. Pete. The airport is just under 15 miles to Clearwater beach. Allegiant has nonstop affordable flights flying into St. Pete airport. Another option would be flying into Tampa airport. Tampa airport is roughly 21 miles to Clearwater beach. Flights from CVG to Tampa are higher than flying into St. Pete.
Most of our family are coming from Northern Kentucky, and prefer to drive. From Alexandria to Clearwater its roughly 936 miles 14 hours. Follow 75S to FL-60W State Rd 60 W to Coronado Dr.
