For attire, we’d love everyone to look festive for the occasion—but most importantly, wear something you feel comfortable and confident in. Think “dressed-up dinner out” rather than formal wedding attire. Short or long dresses are both great options, whatever you feel best in. The only request we have is to please avoid any any white or cream dresses. A dress shirt or button-down, with or without a blazer or suit, is also perfectly appropriate. A tie or no tie is completely fine. Whatever style you prefer, as long as it feels a little polished.
We’re currently working with Oro, our venue and a local farm-to-table restaurant, to create a delicious, customized menu. We’ll have a variety of options, including thoughtful choices for our gluten-free and vegan friends—while making sure there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided for all guests. A cash bar will be available for those who wish to enjoy additional selections.
We’re not big dancers, so we’re skipping the dance floor and focusing on great food, drinks, and conversation instead.
Your presence at our celebration truly means the most to us. If you would like to give a gift, contributions to our Newlywed Fund will go toward things we need for our new home, and planning our Disney honeymoon (we know this comes as a huge surprise). That said, gifts are absolutely not expected. This is not a “pay for your plate” celebration in any way, we are simply grateful to gather with our favorite people and celebrate together.
While we love your little ones, our celebration will be adults-only. We’ve made a few exceptions for guests traveling from out of town with very young children, but otherwise we kindly ask that you arrange childcare for the evening. Thank you for understanding!
